Armed business robbery at Harvest Meat Market

Polk County Sheriff's Robbery detectives are seeking the public's help in an armed robbery that occurred at Harvest Meat Market, located at 4441 Old Kathleen Road in Lakeland.
Around 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019, two black males armed with semi-automatic handguns entered through the rear unlocked door and forced the employees, who were closing up shop for the evening, into the walk-in freezer.
The suspects were both wearing hoodies - one of which has "Just Do It" across the back and the Nike swoosh logo on the front. Their faces were covered and they were wearing gloves. One was carrying a blue backpack.
After the robbery, they fled in a silver newer-model Kia Sportage, as seen in video surveillance.
If anyone has information about this robbery, they are urged to contact Detective Hewett at 863-298-6960.
